An agreement for Hamilton County to purchase a building that surrounds county property has been accepted. It is a deal that eventually could help move the Hamilton County Health Department out of the Government and Judicial Center and into its own building. Police in Fishers are trying to find who is responsible for two recent daytime burglaries that occurred in the same neighborhood. The first burglary happened May 21 in the Thorny Ridge sub-division of Hamilton Proper. The second occurred Friday in the Chestnut Hill sub-division of Hamilton Proper. Sgt. Gerry Hepp said officers were called to the 10600 block of Thorny Ridge Trace May 21, in which the homeowner reported that she left the house around 11 a.m. When she returned at 3:45 p.m., she discovered that someone had gotten into her home through an open bathroom window.

The Hamilton Southeastern Board of School Trustees has announced the names of two new building principals – Matt Kegley and Andrea Burke. Kegley is currently assistant principal at HSE High School, will be the principal at Riverside School next year.
