May 2nd, 2008 by William Fouts

And, most schools have two athletic directors; some have a couple of secretaries, and many schools have gone to hiring

Rev. Eric Brotheridge: The Sacrificial Lamb

May 2nd, 2008 by admin
The Obama-Jeremiah Wright controversy has been fascinating to watch as it has unfolded over the past several weeks. I have moved from anger to ecstatic joy and now to sadness as race, politics and religion have interwoven under the bright lights of national scrutiny. Initially I was angered at the running of the video clips from Wright’s sermons. I was outraged at the tactics of whoever decided upon this media scheme. If someone isn’t occasionally upset by a line or two delivered in a pastor’s sermon then the pastor isn’t doing her or his job. To have a line

Geesaman, a challenger to incumbent Luke Kenley, agreed with many issues the incumbent had to say Wednesday during a debate sponsored by the Hamilton County Young Republicans. Elizabeth Granger: Floating cabins a surprising success

May 2nd, 2008 by admin
PATOKA LAKE, Ind. – Harvey Edwards and his partners declared the sea trial of their first floating cabin a surprising success. A success because it stayed afloat, taking on no water. A surprise because it floated away from the dock and headed out toward the lake. Seems no one had thought to tie it up. In 2004, Edwards’ Patoka Lake Marina became the first in the state to rent floating cabins. On the water but docked at the marina, the cabins offer an alternative to houseboats for those who want to be on the
